Scranton Older Adult Rehabilitation Program

Overview

The City of Scranton has partnered with the Aging in Place program to allocate funding for the Scranton Older Adult Rehabilitation Program. This program aims to provide critical home repairs to older Scranton residents of modest means, making their homes safer, more accessible, and more energy-efficient. These will address urgent needs such as roof repairs, accessibility upgrades, system replacements, and unsafe electrical or plumbing conditions. Additionally, the program will also address other home improvements, such as siding, windows, insulation, and ventilation systems, to enhance the home's long-term habitability and energy efficiency.
