NeighborWorks Announces Staff Promotion, Board of Directors Appointments

NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania (NWNEPA) is proud to announce the promotion of Pamela Anslinger to the position of Homeownership & Financial Services Manager, as well as the appointment of Henry Matute Coello, Maggie Perry, Dean Pettinato, and Wayne Evans to the agency’s Board of Directors.


Pamela Anslinger originally joined our staff as an AmeriCorps VISTA in 2016. She is a HUD-certified Homeownership Counselor who has worked full-time with NWNEPA since April 2017.


“I am excited and thankful to be able to lead our homeownership line of programming, including our homeownership counseling, financial coaching, and foreclosure avoidance services. Our team works each day to help those seeking to buy and stay in their homes.”


Henry Matute Coello works as Coordinator for Co-Curricular Programs at Penn State University- Scranton.

"Joining the board of a great organization is something that I have wanted to do for some time. The mission of NeighborWorks is great. I'm looking forward to gaining knowledge, and to be able to help others in the community, especially the Hispanic/Latino population. I'm thankful for the opportunity."


Maggie Perry serves as the Grant Manager for the City of Scranton, a role she has held for 13 years.


"The NeighborWorks mission really resonates with me, as I believe in the important role our neighborhoods play in the overall wellbeing of the community. I am honored to be part of the NeighborWorks Board both personally and professionally."


Dean Pettinato serves as the Principal at the Scranton School for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children. Born and raised in Clarks Summit, PA, he currently lives in Scott Township, PA with his wife, Sarah, and two daughters, Adrianna and Emma.

"I am so excited to be a part of such a wonderful organization! I look forward to contributing to the community and working with NeighborWorks Northeast PA."


Wayne Evans is currently the Broker/Owner of Wayne Evans Realty, and recently received the designation from the University of Miami Architecture School and the Congress of New Urbanism - CNU - A, which is an accreditation in new urbanism planning.


"With my background as a Community Activist for most of my life, as well as a former City Councilman and Mayor, working with NeighborWorks is a perfect fit. I have always been impressed with the work that NeighborWorks has done over the years, and I am excited to be part of their immediate future."
