Next Homebuyer Education Workshop will be hosted at our new home!
NeighborWorks NEPA is committed to homeownership and stability for our clients, and we are proud to announce that our next workshops will be offered at our new future home at 815 Smith St., Scranton, PA 18504.
Anyone interested in buying a home or in the particulars of the home-buying process is invited to register.
These free workshops are designed for anyone interested in purchasing a home now or in the near future. Attendees can learn the pros and cons of owning, requirements, qualifications and options for lending, how credit impacts decision-making and how the closing process works. Guest speakers can include lenders, real-estate and insurance agents, inspectors and/or attorneys.
The six-hour workshop, offered in two three-hour increments, counts toward the Homebuyer Education Course Certification, a requirement for many lending products. Both sessions must be completed to receive the certificate.
