Recently, NeighborWorks Northeastern Pennsylvania was the recipient of two prestigious SAGE Awards – including Non-Profit Organization of the Year –  at the annual Chamber Gala event hosted by the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce.

The Scranton Awards for Growth and Excellence, or SAGE Awards, recognize the outstanding efforts, talent, creativity and innovation within the northeastern Pennsylvania business community. Each year, over 100 applications are submitted for awards in multiple categories.  These categories apply to new and emerging businesses, seasoned veterans and various industries.

NWNEPA took home the top honors in two categories, including “Non-Profit Organization of the Year” and the “Pride and Progress Award: Exterior Renovations” for our Paint the Town project. We want to thank all of our community partners, clients and supporters for helping us make a noteworthy impact on the NEPA region!
